My story

Word lover. Period.

I have a lifelong, steadfast, profound and rampant love for words and their grammatical connective tissue, thanks in large part to an exquisitely verbal family of origin. (Sometimes I have to indulge in a really long sentence.)

Born in California, I lived in widely different areas of the US before alighting in Belgium, which has been my home since 2001.

Because I’m keen on travel, I studied and worked in many aspects of the hotel, travel and MICE industries  – and several others  – in search of my professional “home”. In every position, I wound up as the designated word shepherd, writing for the business. Finally, joyfully, I made writing my business.
